How do I get a pond?

Getting a pond created on your property is easy with PBR!

4. PBR creates your custom pond

What is required to dig a pond?
- Typically a Development Permit is needed. If the project location is in the flood pain, a Flood Plain permit will have to be applied by the property owner, permit could be approved or denied dependent on the County.

How do you fill a new pond with water?
- Natural rainwater or well-fed
What kind of pond options are available?
- Anything from large, custom lakes for fishing or pleasure, to small stock tanks for livestock.
What kind of “livestock to be aware of”?
- Horses and cattle. If the pond will be used for livestock, PBR needs to know to make sure the pond slopes are gradual for the livestock to enter and exit.
How deep can you make a pond or lake?
- As deep as we can go to still ensure an adequate pond seal with the material.
